Everyone wants the best, but being the best isn’t as easy as some people make it seem and that’s what I like to call “The Fly Trap”. Getting caught up in the superficial world of success is what tends to lead most of us to our down fall. It’s ok to want many things but it’s important to understanding the process of achieving the impossible.
Knowing it’s not real
One of the most important things to understand is that nothing you see is real and is only there to provide a narrative. This is crucial in understanding your own success because at some point you’ll have to create your own narrative. You have to answer the “what makes me so special?” and you can’t do that if you’re swept in the superficial world of success. By understanding what you see is fabricated you’ll be able to recognize your own value and in doing you take your first step of your journey.
You don’t have to impress anyone
If you got into this to impress someone I’m sorry but I have to tell you that you’re in this for the wrong reasons. I always ask people “if you make 100k a year but your debt or bills come to 95k are you really rich? Did you really make to the next lvl or are you just lost in the sauce and haven’t realized it yet?” I can’t speak for the rest of the world but here at Members Only Club we do this for freedom to experience all that life has to offer us.
It’s a day by day thing
Nothing is instantaneous besides the lottery and we don’t make a habit of gambling with our futures. True success is achieved with time and work with a sprinkle of ambition. Do you think Kobe just woke up one day and became the Black Mamba? No he worked and trained to be the best he could be with a work ethic and dedication to the game that changed a lot of our perspectives of work hard play hard.
Your day 1
Knowing your day one is never going as grand as they make it seem is arguably the most important part in starting your journey. There are going to be good days and bad, but don’t let that stop you from achieving all that you dream about.
I wish you luck on your journey and hope you achieve all that you dream of.
