Do you know where you are?
If you have trouble answering that question you might be lost, and I’m here to let you know that it’s ok. No one is born knowing where they’re at in life or even where they’ll end up because life itself is unpredictable.
What you have planned for tomorrow may not go how you imagined it, or the goals you set for the future may never come to fruition, and I’m going to say once more “that’s ok” life is all about successes and failures.
Once you understand that, figuring out where you are will become a lot less stressful. If you feel like your walking around in the dark, I want you to take a second to slow down. Breathe, then tell yourself “it’s going to be ok”.
Bracing yourself for what comes next is where the real challenge begins.
Walking through the darkness.
Wherever you find yourself in life, moving forward is always a walk in the dark. If you have goals and dreams, that is something you’ll have to understand if you intend to see them through.
I’m not here to tell you it will be easy. I’m here to tell you that it can be done.
If you have your goals or dreams in mind you’re already halfway there to finding your path. If not that’s ok, sometimes you got to feel out life and see where you want to go.
I’ll even share a secret with you too, there was one point in my life when I wanted to own a cheese factory and make cheese for a living and be a Rockstar. Now I’m writing blogs, running an entire brand, and into photography. My point is you never really know what you want to do until you figure out where you want to go.
What you need to do after that is to plan for your journey. I can’t tell you what you have to do because no journey is the same, no matter what path you decide to walk down. What I can tell you is if you plan accordingly and adapt to unexpected changes then you’ll find yourself doing far better than most.
Finding your footing.
In this final step, you must brave the darkness if you want to find the light. You have to let go of your fears and insecurities, whatever that may be.
you must be willing to fail in order to know success– C
As you stick to your plan, you’ll eventually get used to walking in the dark until it becomes second nature to you. You will see unexpected adversities come your way, and you know how to deal with each of them properly. Some of the things that would hold you back at the beginning of your journey now seem like minor inconveniences. You’ve just become a master of your craft, and now you find yourself running instead of walking.
Now what seemed impossible now looks like another Tuesday.
